ACCOMMODATIONS
For the convenience and comfort of visitors and tourists, there are a number of resorts in the island of Camiguin to choose from. Usually, visitors select to stay in a resort based on the cost of accommodation, proximity to places they intend to see, and the ammenities that are provided. The majority of Camiguin's resorts are located in the municipalities of Mambajao and Mahinog where the major landmarks and tourist attractions are located. Most of the operators and owners of these resorts are members of the Camiguin Association of Resort and Restaurant Operators and they are also accredited by the Department of Tourism. During a three-day visit to the island in June of 2002, the Hawaiian WebMaster took the opportunity to visit a number of these resorts and even stayed in one of them - the Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin. A number of digital photographs were taken of some resorts so that these can be shared through this Website with others who might one day plan on spending a few days in Camiguin.
